Durden: Ora anche la Turchia vuole rimpatriare il suo oro alla Fed. TUTTO.

Non so se avete visto la nius che ho tuittato l’altro giorno: mo anche i turchi vogliono rimpatriare il loro oro alla Fed. Non solo lo vogliono rimpatriare, lo vogliono rimpatriare TUTTO! E non e’ proprio pochissimo, sarebbe l’11esimo accumulo di una BC al mondo. 

After Venezuela, Germany, Austria and the Netherlands prudently repatriated a substantial portion (if not all) of their physical gold held at the NY Fed or other western central banks in recent years, this morning Turkey also announced that it has decided to repatriate all its gold stored in the US Federal Reserve and deliver it to the Istanbul Stock Exchange, according to reports in Turkey's Yeni Safak. It won't be the first time Turkey has asked the NY Fed to ship the country's gold back: in recent years, Turkey repatriated 220 tons of gold from abroad, of which 28.7 tons was brought back from the US last year.

According to the latest IMF data, Turkey’s gold reserves are estimated at 591 tons, worth just over $23 billion. This makes Ankara the 11th largest gold holder, behind the Netherlands and ahead of India.

.. ma ora si parla di “estinguere il conto alla Fed”, rimpatriare tutto il malloppone, 591 tonnellate! (che come sappiamo dovrebbero essere al 33 di Liberty Street, NYC, 95 piedi - 29 metri - sotto il livello del mare).

Meanwhile, Erdogan has taken a tough stance against the US currency, criticized dollar loans and saying thatinternational loans should be given in gold instead. 

"Why do we make all loans in dollars? Let’s use another currency. I suggest that the loans should be made based on gold,” Erdoğan said during a speech at the Global Entrepreneurship Congress in Istanbul on April 16, according to Hurriyet. 

In what some saw an appeal for a gold standard by the Turkish president, Erdogan added that “with the dollar the world is always under exchange rate pressure. We should save states and nations from this exchange rate pressure. Gold has never been a tool of oppression throughout history."

Erdogan se la sta prendendo con il dollaro, critica il fatto che il mondo intero si indebiti (sia costretto ad indebitarsi?) in Dollari della Fed (coi tassi a zero o quasi da cosi’ tanto anni! ..) e dice che bisognerebbe indebitarsi in oro invece!

“Col dollaro, indebitandosi in dollari, il mondo e’ sempre sotto la pressione dei tassi di cambio. Dovremmo salvare stati e nazioni da questa pressione dei tassi di cambio. L’oro [invece] non e’ mai stato uno strumento di oppressione in tutta la storia” dice Erdoghan (!!!)

Qui sopra l’illustrazione plastica dell’emorragia di oro dalla Fed di New York in questi ultimi 10-12 anni. Da 6.600 tonnellate conservate per conto di altre BC a 5.700.. and counting.

Commento ad alcuni commenti su ZH: 

“Lo dovranno comprare nel mercato visto che alla Fed chissa’ cos’e’ rimasto davvero .. come per la Germania, che per rimpatriare parte del suo oro ci ha messo 5 anni!” ... ehm:D .... e i tedeschi dalla Fed hanno rimpatriato solo 300 tonnellate, quasi la meta’ delle 591 tonnellate turche (tutte alla Fed se ho capito bene).

“Se lo papperanno tutto Erdogan e gerarchi locali." Beh, visti i precedenti (Saddam che voleva vendere petrolio in euro, Gheddafi che voleva venderlo in oro e introdurre monetazione in oro e argento in Africa ...) mi sa che alla fine tornera’ nelle disponibilita’ dell’Impero. Se mai uscira’ da NY (e se a NY c’e’ ancora). 

“Non si capisce perche’ le BC mondiali abbiano lasciato l’oro li, alla Fed, dopo il ferragosto 1971!” .. eh, non hai torto. "Impero” e “Petrodollaro” potrebbero essere alcune risposte?
